What I got on the dog walk this morning in Ottawa, Canada.
A thin crescent moon pointing up from the ground, with bright Venue immediately below on the right, and Regulus from the constellation Leo below that. Two airplanes contrails come up from the horizon, which is covered by trees and telephone wires.

An extremely handsome and noble-looking dog, short haired with mostly black fur but with brown legs, around 80 pounds with a hound-shaped head, stands at the edge of a dock looking out in profile over a lake. A white buoy floats nearby. Across the lake, about 250 meters away, is the opposite shore - a steep hill covered in green trees - a mix of deciduous and evergreens. Above the hill is a blueish-grey sky, the result of forest fire smoke high in the sky. One small dock breaks up the shoreline across the lake, which is almost perfectly reflected in the still water. But let’s face it, this picture is all about Indy, my noble doggo.

Sure it’s just a summary, but still remarkable that the NYT would try to explain the spat between Powell and the President without even referring to the concept of inflation.

Fought the clouds in Ottawa last night but ultimately prevailed at the cost of 3 mosquito bites.

I continue to be amazed at what my iPhone can capture.

Indy, aka Windy, feels seen.

Indy is a rescue and a very odd mix - Catahoula hound and border collie from what we understand. A little reactive but a total sweetheart.
My dog Indy lying on a pillow on a couch. His eyes are open but he’s basically asleep. He has a hound-shaped head and just the tip of his younger is sticking out. His primary color is black but he has some brown on his face and white bib.
