It was a supermarket multi pack of Mars bars that got airport security all in a lather for me. Admittedly it was a while ago but I was asked to open the pack and take a bite out of one of them.

I have had that album since it came out in 1977/8 It has remained in my top 10 albums ever since.

The role of a BBC board member is clearly not to destabilise the organisation, but was Gibb placed in that role (by Johnson?) specifically for that purpose?

This (not from that piece) is one of those charts where I am completely aware of the data but my mental map of how the global economy works still almost refuses to update to the new reality. Because the pace of change has been so rapid.

The *government* is doing (or trying to do) something that isn’t simple. It’s complex and can’t be reduced to simple slogans whether that be “take back control” or “smash the gangs” or “tax the billionaires.”
The press are not innocent either.
