Ayant suivi les mesures de radiation solaire ces derniers mois à YUL et à McTavish (McGill), on voit systématiquement une chute soudaine un peu avant le coucher du soleil en été à McGill (et pas à YUL). Ça semble être le mont Royal qui cache le soleil à la station, d'où la différence selon moi.

It's a record for August (previously 21.1° in 1996), but there were a few warmer lows in the past in July. All-time warmest low is 23.3° on July 8, 1952.

We've asked a friend who works there and he said that the station is currently standing over a paved area, so it is overheating the sensor. It's a temporary setup until they repair the real station further in the field. So not a reliable temperature unfortunately!

Correction: Sept-Îles actually reached 29.9°C.

And then the sea-breeze came to Marys Harbour... causing a 17°C drop in one hour (n/a = 15.2°)
