Kristi Noem was in a TV ad about immigration and what a great job the current President is doing on the issue. It was paid for by the Department of Homeland Security. Is it legal for U.S. taxpayer money to be spend on a political ad?

Another cold day. It says 28 degrees but feels like 17. We will make it through.

It has been a cold few days, and I abandoned politics to figure out how to care for my 5 hens as the temperatures went down to minus 8 degrees at times. Composted hay and poop, radiant heating panels, and body temperatures have helped.

Beautiful inside and out. A warrior for women. An activist for justice. We lost Cecile Richards today. It is a great loss, but her impact on the lives of so many citizens will never be lost.
