Give to your local candidates only.

There was no communication, just a Sunday surprise.

Every time there are a large number of candidates for a position in the primary, people get overwhelmed. I remember one person said they would vote for my candidate as I was the only person that knocked on their door.

We need to keep pressing. We need to vet candidates better so there aren’t any “October surprises”. We had several candidates for Lt. governor, and I had so many friends calling me who to vote for. Nobody wants to take the time to research them. I go to meet and greets, read their campaign page.

Yep. I had a hard time getting people to vote in primaries. One neighbor I reminded 4 times. I knocked doors. When someone complained about a candidate I asked them if they voted in the primary. I said that’s why it’s so important to vote in the primary.

I did at 3 different offices.

I was happy to help defeat her!

I disagree with her on this one.

Yeah no one running is a big problem here too in small races. I ended up knocking doors for a school board candidate in a nearby county to beat a moms for liberty incumbent. He won by like 74 votes.. I’m only going to volunteer for those small candidates in future.

I won’t volunteer for Kaine next go around if he runs. I spent hours getting signatures for him to get on the ballot, and also handing out his lit.
November 11, 2025 at 4:04 AM
It’s still important to vote at least for local positions- board of supervisors, school boards, soil and water etc.
November 11, 2025 at 3:59 AM
Kaine is my Senator. Calling his office today. I even volunteered for his campaign last year handing out lit and getting signatures to get on the ballot. The last time I was pissed at him he voted to confirm Kristi Noem.

Won’t peoples health premiums still go up? This CR expires after Jan 1?
November 10, 2025 at 12:46 PM
I’m only going to support local candidates with my time and energy like school board.
November 10, 2025 at 8:53 AM
Kaine did it because he just got elected last year, Warner is up for election next year.
November 10, 2025 at 8:51 AM
The donors probably called about the airport delays for their private jets.
November 10, 2025 at 8:49 AM
Kaine just got reelected last year. I won’t forget.
November 10, 2025 at 2:29 AM
Kaine just got reelected last year. Probably why he did it. I won’t volunteer for his campaign again.
November 10, 2025 at 2:28 AM
Kaine just got reelected last year. Figured he had awhile to face voters again.

Mail in ballots counted stamped by Election Day and received by Friday noon increased his lead to 74. Only 60 provisional ballots, only 3 curable so he should win. Election certified next Thursday to become official. He should win!! Don’t underestimate the power you have to change things!
November 8, 2025 at 11:20 AM
Provisional ballots still to be counted.
