As of 5PM EST November 26th I have the Patriots cap space number as $50,696,191 - a $280,000 decrease from yesterday's update. I have the Patriots with 53 active players on their roster. They now have eleven players on Injured Reserve, seventeen players on their practice squad and two players on Practice Squad injured reserve. Am projecting the Patriots to end the 2025 regular season with around $48.5M in cap space after accounting for practice squad elevations, earned NLTBE active roster bonuses and replacing injured players My Patriots cash spending total excludes the $18.4M in incentives Patriots players can still earn this season. It also excludes unearned active roster bonuses. On the other hand, it does include the $900K in incentives already achieved by Patriots players.

I am including my projections for LTBE incentives for the 2026 roster in my numbers.

Have Increased the 2026 salaries of Demario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte to the projected low RFA tender.
This is my latest projection at the Patriots 2026 cap space number. As of 7PM EST November 25th the Patriots have 47 players signed for the 2026 season. I am presuming they will sign most of their practice squad to futures deals once their playoff run ends. I am GUESSING at the 2026 League Cap number, the 2025 carryover, and the adjustment numbers. These numbers will become more accurate as games are played. I am now projecting LTBE incentives for players on the 2026 roster. For example, Carlton Davis has $2M in playing-time incentives that will be categorized LTBE (Likely to Be Earned) if he continues to play at least 87% of the snaps. Please note both Demario Douglas and Kayshon Boutte have played enough snaps during their rookie deals to increase their 2026 salary from $1.145M to the projected low RFA tender amount ($3.711M). I have the Patriots 2026 effective salary cap space number as $20,339,370 after projecting these future expenses $3.2M in cap space to sign 2026 draft class. The $3.2M is just a holder as no one knows now where the Patriots 2026 draft picks will actually be. $5.25M for Practice Squad players and their elevations $1,363,412 for earned NLTBE active roster bonuses. Expect this number to increase as players miss games during the 2025 season. $1.77M for the salaries of players 52 and 53 $7.5M to replace injured players

Here's my projection at an early 2026 Christian Gonzalez extension. Am presuming he is named to the Pro Bowl this season AND that his fifth-year option amount is $17,543,000.

Updating the salary cap impact of trading Kyle Dugger after learning the Patriots converted $4,766,667 of his salary into a signing bonus before trading him.

The Patriots gained close to $4.18M in cap space in 2025 while creating over $4.7M for the 2026 season and $18M for the 2027 season.
