Zohran and Bernie were both populists. Bernie, I think, sold out. Trump is a right wing populist. They both want to appease their base - Americans. The others? 9/10 establishment on both sides.... This meeting was so refreshing and I'm MAGA. I appreciated Mamdani's civility and Trump's.

You're not all wrong but Trump is this way when someone is civil towards him. Mamdani is clearly also diplomatic. Two populist men who value diplomacy reached their hands across the aisle to discuss helping Americans and maintained their humanity. It's a fucking miracle. Congress should take notes.

I'm a Trump supporter, but I was impressed by both of them being humane and respectful. President Trump matches energy (nice if you're nice) and Mamdani clearly does, too.

Being mutually civil is not cowering. Mamdani listened and quit talking when Trump said just say yes about him being fascist. If anything it showed Trump's dominance that Mamdani listened. It's likely because he's older and more experienced with the press. We need more bipartisan civility.
