Unless you happen to be Sam Cooke, which you definitely aren’t (sorry couldn’t resist)

Also part of the transit mall and a hub for Max lines (the civilized way to visit downtown from the suburbs)

Oof yeah I can imagine. Was definitely spoiled. Mid-90s Sooner fans deserve respect. That means you got to see Schnellenberger in action, right? That must have been… something.

Yeah, it was a little higher in 2000 but not bad! I just walked up to the office and got them before the season started. Super easy. That was my freshman year. Wasn’t the same after that of course

I was at that 2000 Nebraska game as a student. Got the season package when it was dirt cheap!

By my count we now have 3 conference champs that beat champs from other FBS conferences.

Indiana (Kennesaw State)
Tulane (Duke)

JMU (Washington State)

Looks like all 3 victors will be in the CFP. If you consider the Pac-12 a shared title, then throw in

Texas Tech (Oregon State)

Downstream of this is stuff happening at the state level. Like at Kent State. www.ideastream.org/education/20... And I’ve heard that their freshman class has more bullying issues than previous years. The political situation is impacting lives everywhere and we often never hear about it.
Kent State University to close LGBTQ+, Multicultural and Women's centers to comply with state law
The move to close the centers to comply with Senate Bill 1 comes after other major universities in Ohio have closed their diversity, equity and inclusion offices and ended their multicultural, women's...

Yup, another reason being that they can’t compete with Japanese companies in what market there is. A fraction of a fraction won’t cut it. Heavy marketing of larger vehicles definitely plays a role but there are choices and most American consumers simply prefer trucks and SUVs.
December 4, 2025 at 3:10 PM
No, but the classification system hurt wagons some. SUVs and trucks have lower efficiency standards. The main thing of course was that car companies wanted to sell bigger vehicles and Americans were happy to comply.

Yes this but dems would have to deal with scammy PACs and fundraising to have credibility

400 photons/cm3 isn’t a lot but would be visible by the human eye in an otherwise dark room if they were in the visible spectrum instead of microwaves.

Posting fake AI images of something that actually exists (with freely available photos!) is as bad or worse than spreading complete nonsense. But hey, don’t let me stop you from polluting the information environment for clicks.

The cool thing about the phrases like “display of military power” is that they spread exactly the propaganda the government wants while providing no useful information or context to the reader.

They could have called them “intergenerational mortgages” and then the sky’s the limit. Why not 100 years? Time to start that family.

Isolation-induced paranoia is bad enough without Fox News. It was scary as a kid when random people pulled up our rural dirt driveway. I don’t know what the statistics are, but it *feels* much safer to live in closer proximity to other humans.
