I say this as a huge fan of Taylor’s music. I really wanted this to be good but it’s hard to see how somebody as talented as her has come up with an album as tepid as this.

I do actually, but I also think Eurovision is particularly significant given the way Israel has used it as a political tool to whitewash genocide. I’m sure they’ve done that in sport too but I think it’s been more pronounced at Eurovision.

I hope the EBU realises that they have a huge decision on their hands here. If Israel is allowed to participate at the expense of other countries, I truly don’t see the contest ever recovering. It’ll shatter trust forever among fans, and that trust is already broken after last year’s fiasco.

I say this as a huge Eurovision fan. I have no interest in Eurovision as long as Israel is allowed to participate. The genocidal, extremist Israeli government must not be given any further opportunities to whitewash its crimes on the international stage.
