Definitely a #phdjourney highlight for me to give @browncaas.bsky.social rounds yesterday! I presented 3 of my xylazine focused studies, two of which informed my dissertation work, and one that is included in my dissertation. Sort of felt like a dress rehearsal for my eventual defense!

The Center for Alcohol & Addiction Studies @brownpublichealth.bsky.social held its 2nd annual Staff Research Day yesterday! I presented research exploring xylazine awareness among ppl using stimulant drugs. It’s always a joy to be surrounded by folks doing great work - especially now!

Been attending a dissertation writing retreat this week. Can’t say enough how important and useful a supportive work environment is to writing for 6 hours a day! Learning lots of tips and tricks to keep the word going to come out in the end with a fully drafted study 1!
