Admittedly, I have no formal training in Naginata, but I wanted to get a feel of the weapon because I heard it operates with similar mechanics to a sword. So I just experimented for a bit.

If your opponent doesn’t fully commit to swordplay the longer weapon almost always wins, unless you are very tricky like this
