I want to very gently say something, and I hope nobody will be mad: If somebody on the internet says something that is NOT about politics and NOT about how terrible everything is, it’s a kindness not to reflexively make a comment (in jest or not) that brings it back to those things.

About a month ago, my dad fell down some stairs and suffered a brain injury. I've been driving to the rehab facility where he's been staying almost every afternoon immediately after work to visit him and it has been stressful to say the least. Today he was finally released and able to return home!

Just went for a run around the neighborhood and I can report that very few people have put up Christmas decorations yet.

The best part of the Christmas season in Pittsburgh is when they interview a guy dressed as Santa on the news and he's got a huge yinzer accent.

Sometimes when I don't know what to draw, I draw clowns. Here's a sad one for today.

Still waiting for more information, but I'm utterly heartbroken to hear that my friend Dalton Webb has passed away. An amazing artist and a kind soul. This one really stings.
Just heard the terrible news about the passing of a much-beloved local artist, Dalton Webb, after a host of overlapping medical issues. He was a genuinely lovely guy and a tremendous illustrator. His first childrens book was published in September.

Came on here to make a "Ross Douchehat" joke, discovered about 10,000 people got there before me. Have a good weekend everyone

Protip for social media use: don't waste your time interacting with any accounts of people you don't know personally. Threads in particular seems especially apt to show you "controversial" content/rage bait just to boost engagement.

I don't follow New York politics very closely but please tell me that guy's campaign slogan was "You Don't Mess With the Zohran"

I'll be honest with you: I don't believe Sarah Sanderson is actually related to the other two.

I love to see Halloween costumes inspired by Agents of S.U.I.T. Great job, Syrus!

One of my talents/curses is being able to remember the MAD Magazine parody name of nearly any movie they spoofed. Currently watching "Rosemary's Baby," or as I am unable NOT to call it: "Rosemia's Boo-Boo"

Movies always show trick-or-treaters in very distinct, traditional costumes but in reality probably 90% of the kids who show up at my house on Halloween are wearing a random cape, mask, and sweatshirt combo.
