I've been puzzled by the redemptions from the 2 Sprott #uranium ETF's the past few weeks, while URA has seen new units issued.
Perhaps some of their AP's liquidated a portion of their positions to participate in the $200M SPUT raise in late June. Mart sheds some light on this.

Long time coming, but nice to see Cameco breach the CAD$100 mark!! I recall sitting in my broker's office a few years back and him telling me it was going nowhere... sold it at CAD$14 for a CAD$20 loss.
Since striking out on my own, I bought a bunch at CAD$60 a while back...

Big changes at URNJ. In addition to 30K new units being issued, they have started their rebalancing as shown in the attached tables. AEC is the big winner.

So maybe some holders of #uranium ETF's ARE "selling in May to go away", as the last day of the month saw redemptions at all 3 #uranium ETFS I follow.

We will have to see on Monday... but it was a -2.3% drop in shares held across the board... not just here and there....

This is great illustration of the strength of the #uranium thesis.
URA tends to be popular amongst the generalist investor due to its liquidity, history etc. Tourists...
The newer, pure-play Sprott #uranium ETF's attract savvy resource investors who are more willing endure the volatility.

The Emperor has spoken.. more margin calls this morning... the #uranium tourists flee...
I will only start to think about panicking if I see large outflows from URNM.
I have been through this before in the 2004-2013 cycle.. and there wasn't a loose nut on the throne.
Let's await "the rotation"

#uranium stocks were hit hard, but as the collective stock market's punching bag, we're used to it. The good news is that only the high profile #uranium names were hit hard and most of the other losers were traded on light volumes... unlike the Mag 7 who were traded heavily (2x vol) downward today.

URA reported no changes in OS units last night, but holdings indicate 270K units will be reported this evening as redeemed - a pitfall of being the high profile #uranium investment vehicle for Joe Average.

What a day!
With the general markets tanking, it's nice to see #uranium stocks are only down in light trading. I'm sure margin calls are coming in fast furious for those fools who are leveraged. Maybe this will flush the last of them out.
