I'm looking to see if the cuts & chaos at CDC and NIH have affected any clinical trials or research for drugs for the treatment of cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, or other serious diseases. If you know anything, please contact me at DavidCorn.99 at Signal.

Or if you have any other good stories.

At the moment, mansion-sized Asteroid 2024-YR4 has a one-in-fifty chance of hitting Earth in the next eight years.

Now might be a bad time to reduce spending on Science. Just sayin’.

I can’t believe this needs to be said, but cutting funding for cancer research is not how you make America great.

The richest man in the world says he wants to shut down the government, forcing millions of American workers - including our troops - to go without pay through the holidays.

Republicans are following his orders. This is insane.

I guess this is the positive reaction I was searching for…
"Yes she is corrupt but she isn't Matt Gaetz" is the strongest endorsement I've heard so far for Pam Bondi's AG nomination.

Grateful for this bright spot. It also looks as if the Rs no longer have a 3/5 majority in the NC House.
Y'all, this is huge – North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Allison Riggs wins by just 623 votes out of over 5.5 million cast!

There will be a recount but that won't change 600+ votes.

NC Democrats continue to outperform expectations despite a tough national environment! 🙌

This is significant of course—but given the Rs have the Presidency, Senate, House and a conservative Supreme Court, this doesn’t carry the weight I might wish.
Trump got less than 50% of the 65% percent turnout of eligible voters.

Don’t let anyone tell you the country is MAGA. Smack them upside the head with this.
Trump has fallen below 50% of the popular vote.

With 152.7M votes counted so far, he leads Harris 49.99%-48.22%.

This was not a landslide or a blowout by any means.

159+M total ballots in 2020.
