Don’t take your eye off the ball. The attack on Iran is meant to distract you from the proposed changes to tax credits for soybean farms

Thanks Trump and RFK Jr!
The U.S. is on track to have the worst whooping cough outbreak since 1948. Some regions are reporting that they are struggling to do contact tracing of cases because they are ALSO managing measles investigations.

And, of course, funding cuts to public health have resulted in fewer resources.

Much of the cardboard and paper goods strewn about our homes are sold by a single private company, with its name, Uline, stamped on the bottom.

Few Americans know that a multibillion-dollar fortune made on those ubiquitous products fuels far-right candidates across the country.

That Cardboard Box in Your Home Is Fueling Election Denial
A previously unreported boom in profits for the shipping supply giant Uline has provided the funds for a deeply conservative Midwestern family to bankroll anti-democracy causes around the country.

WTF is this @nbcnews.com? It's a completely inaccurate portrayal of what happened and you're just repeating Speaker Johnson's lies without any corrections or edits?
Speaker Johnson says Zelenskyy may have to resign after fiery Oval Office meeting
Johnson said Zelenskyy “needs to come to his senses and come back to the table in gratitude or someone else needs to lead the country to do that.”

I've gotten a good amount of my news from @cnn.com since Obama was running for President. But now I can't get hardly any news from their website without having to pay, so I'm done. Not worth it.

Construction for just about everything will go up. Another way Trump is making people pay more, instead of less, like he promised.
President Trump on Sunday said that he would impose a 25% tariff on all foreign steel and aluminum imports into the U.S. as of Monday and would soon announce reciprocal tariffs on America’s trading partners.
Trump to impose metal tariffs on Monday, followed by broader levies.
The president said he planned sweeping tariffs on all steel and aluminum imports on Monday and would take other action to even out tariff rates with the rest of the world later this week.

Trump is like the grade school presidential candidate that ran on pizza every day for lunch and making the water fountains have mountain dew. The smart kids knew those were impossible and dumb ideas, but he won. Is he an anomaly, or have we as a society overestimated our collective sophistication?

Thanks Trump for even higher prices!

If you haven't watched Somebody Somewhere, and you went to K-State and/or lived in and around Manhattan (KS), you need to. It's not just all the "oh I know that place!" shots in the episodes, it really is just a great, real, show! On HBO.

I think Biden should do it. Stop playing by their rules, or "norms", when you know damn well they won't. Plus, then it helps make his pardon of his son seem reasonable. Otherwise, he protects his son, but not everyone else Trumpworld wants to unjustly go after? Come on.
Biden weighs pre-emptive pardons for potential targets of Trump’s retribution
During the 2024 campaign, Trump made threatening comments about people he said had slighted or wronged him.

Yeah...
Trump voters will pay $29.99 for a $2 bill with his face on it, but this election was about the “price of eggs.”
