Helped to form the CCF party (the precursor to today’s NDP). In Canada we have a choice to vote for our future: both in how we spend our dollar and who we elect in government.

That makes sense, as it is synced with Google Classroom? I’m not teaching at the moment but trying to keep up with the tech changes! Thanks for the resources !

Padlet was my fave tool to use in the classroom. At the time I was a supply teacher covering a contract and I didn’t have access to Google Classroom. I organized all my lessons through Padlet! It was easy to organize class files AND use it as a tool for engagement and collaboration!

I’m currently looking into volunteer opportunities but I don’t leave the house much. Still working on my recovery. Thanks for the suggestions! I’d love to help a non-profit as a consultant or trainer.

So true! Don’t forget the T-shirts like Union Days, Orange Shirt Day for support of the Indigenous, Pink Shirt Day and Pride 🏳️🌈 I’m thankful that as a Teacher we get to express ourselves and different causes to model social activism for our students, and to let them know everyone belongs!

I find I have fewer teacher contacts on LinkedIn versus X. I’m excited to use BlueSky as it is more aligned with my values and seems to be growing in the right direction!
I use LinkedIn to learn about career trends and pathways, but found it better suited for my business background.

When I was teaching a grade 8 class of diverse, inner city kids, we had a trip to the local art gallery to empower student self-expression. I discovered a quote by Oprah and used it to guide my unit planning for the year.
