Agree or disagree? The myth of the head start needs to be challenged in Ontario Education. Students need to explore careers earlier, while also avoiding the need to narrowly specialize. Have a breadth of skills can help students have the “competitive advantage” in the long run!

Went to a local Christmas Market at Brooklin High School in Durham Region over the weekend, and was blown away at the event organization.

The Business Leadership class ran the event and the benefits from admission went to cancer research.

I didn’t leave empty-handed. 🎁

When I was teaching a grade 8 class of diverse, inner city kids, we had a trip to the local art gallery to empower student self-expression. I discovered a quote by Oprah and used it to guide my unit planning for the year.
