Per Thomas Paine, these are times that try men's soul. Are we prepared for the tumultuous hardships to come. Are we merely sunshine patriots, keyboard soldiers who abandon the cause when privilege and comfort is threatened. Perverance is not for the faint-hearted. Neither is it done in a vacuum.

Jack Schlossberg succeeded in ‘trolling for a cause.’ Now, he’s running for Congress.
“New media is completely polluted and the air is dirty. I figured out a way to breathe in that environment,” Schlossberg said in an interview with MSNBC’s Jacqueline Alemany.

I've wanted to see more of this for a long time. And I'd love to know if there is any longitudinal data that could tell us whether the public has become less informed over the years.
I’ve been thinking a lot about a new kind of polling I’d like to see. We have polling that measures public opinion, which is obviously important, but I’d love to see a little more empirical work on public knowledge: what do voters know about politics and policy?

Shutting down the government or the threat to shut it down is THE ONLY leverage that the Democrats have to stop the government abuses rained down daily on the American people. That's power the GOP is betting they are not strong enough to wield.

Democrats, do not vote to fund Trump's rogue, authoritarian, amoral government. #Shutitdown and make a case to the American people as to why.

Netflix just gave Gavin Newsom 2 million for the redistricting fight and made a deal with Sesame Street. New episodes will air there and the backlog of old episodes will Be free to watch.

Netflix picked a side. I will keep my subscription.
