This morning I had breakfast at a place called Stacks! More cafe than diner, but friendly service, good food, warm atmosphere. Got an All Meat omelette as a scramble. Delicious!

It has been a while since I’ve made a food post. However, last night, I tried out Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers for the first time. Service was great, and I got “The Box” combo , which was 4 chicken fingers, with dipping sauce, coleslaw, fries, Texas toast, and a drink. It was very good!

My first post-Scrambl’z Sunday. I decided to try one of 3 places my brother suggested: Flames Coffee Shop. Pros: Nice decor, good food, professional service. Cons: Feels like it lacks the personal touch (not unfriendly, but just more professional), no specials, not as whimsical.

Sad news. My local location of Scrambl’z, my breakfast place for the past few years, is closing. It sounds like their other location will stay open, but isn’t convenient for me to go to. Last breakfast here then!

Taking a sick day. Nasal congestion, irritation in my throat from mucus, tired, a little headache. Was feeling a bit of it yesterday, but after trying to work, I figured best to rest now than let it get worse.

Due to a monorail breakdown, we had to hoof it to our lunch place. Fortunately, I had already called in to say we were running late, and were still able to get seated without a wait.
