As my upcoming DnD campaign is nautical themed with fancy maps and everything I wanted a fancy compass. Originally I just intended to "borrow" @dysonlogos.bsky.social compass design from Ghosts of Saltmarsh, but when I drew it it looked like a Sea Turtle so I kinda went with it

My version of the same. I couldn't get out my head that the tiny little spikes looked like feet, and that the circle was a shell.

A first pass at a Sea Turtle themed compass, to be displayed on fictional maps of islands and oceans

The final design I settled on. Made simpler, and including little points on the shell for east and west. I like the idea that the flippers represent NE, SE, NW and SW

I also made a map for the new campaign. Planning to run a hybrid of homebrew, Ghosts of Saltmarsh and Tales From the Yawning Portal. Set in a Carribbean type archipelago with pirates and sea monsters.
