As somebody who got CS-gassed in army basic training, I say yes, take a shower and change all your clothes. You've got the discipline to not rub your eyes, so good for you, you'll be fine. I also concur with the ice cream idea (Walmart used to sell a mango jalapeño ice cream that was really good).

I made a strawberry-rhubarb pie with rhubarb from my backyard, and I just finished it off, mostly with my morning coffee over the last week or so (myself, as my lovely wife thinks carbs are bad).
