One of the things I struggle with most, especially with my work behind a paywall: people telling me they want to read more football content in the paper, but there's no consistent engagement with the articles up on the website. People knock the paper for lack of coverage, but ignore stories online.
There's two main things with what you've suggested, and neither of them are bad.
The first is people say they want all this content, but then don't engage with said articles. Example: Social post got 300 reactions across all platforms, but had significantly worse performance on the website.
