I have nothing to sell you. I'm just a boy who never stopped loving AD&D.
Think really hard about the history of dice, and how many people were illiterate when they must have been invented.

So mock my old-school oversimulationist rulebooks all you want but realize this: Knowing that rules means I don't waste time improvising sandwich attacks. I can focus on important decisions, like which funny voices to assign to which merchants when the #grognarda go shopping for 10ft poles, again.

But "Do you own a d2 to roll for sandwich attacks," you ask? Don't be foolish. I own six, from two different companies. I'm the #DungeonMaster with a 2-pound #dice bag, you dope.

It was an #80s-themed murder mystery, and I was the murderer, accidentally confirming some stereotypes about my hobby.

The last time I saw #DnD for sale at #ToysRUs (August 2011), this was the display!

Seriously, I bought my first box of #StarFrontiers #miniatures at a #ToysRUs. Back in the #80s, toy stores would sell little kids boxes of lead without blinking an eye.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

"That's the most unrealistic piece of Star Frontiers art ever, because it shows a girl playing #StarFrontiers."

Fortunately for me, #HeroesUnlimited is still in print, and the #PalladiumBooks website even has an errata page for the rulebook... where they misspell "errata."

Yep, same old Palladium! Pride of Detroit, right there!
