Warning! The CPSC has issued a warning that this Aiho dresser sold at Walmart violates the STURDY Act and poses a serious risk of injury or death from a tip-over. The manufacturer has not responded to the notice of violation. Destroy and dispose of it or ensure it's anchored to the wall. #AnchorIt

Consumers play a vital role in standard development. PAT participates in the ASTM furniture safety committee for clothing storage furniture and furniture anchors and was instrumental in driving the updates to the standard, which are now mandatory under the STURDY Act.

Parents Against Tip-Overs announces a change in leadership. PAT has moved mountains in the furniture safety and consumer advocacy space. I am so proud of everything we have accomplished. It's an honor to be part of PAT and to assume the role of Chairwoman. There is still work to be done!
