Today @citylifesd baptized 14 people. I wish I could tell you the stories and how far God has brought them. In 10 years we never baptized more than 10 in a whole year and some years we only baptized one or two. We’ve not done much differently. But God is clearly up to something.

A friend got out of prison recently and I took him some non alcoholic beers as a welcome home gift. He told me about wanting to get his life back on track so we decided to have a bible study together. He said he knew so few Christians…

The last Bible club of the year for Gompers. 😭I was so impressed with these kids. Many did not believe but came curious.
I enjoyed their inquisitiveness and dedication. Pastor Wiley and Ashley made it even better.

When I first moved to Mt Hope, Leonard was one of the first people to welcome me. Not a week went by that he didn’t ask me about my church, surfing and the First Lady. He always prayed for me and had me pray for him. “pastor, give us a prayer.”
