like there are so many very real and intense reasons to cry on any morning this week/month/year/decade, but thanks to the wonders of modern medicine I can only cry for corny reasons

I feel like a big part of the problem is that being in a position of significant power both attracts certain kinds of people and enables/rewards/encourages/brings out those traits. Imagine if we could find ways to distribute power that discouraged corruption, instead of wishing for benevolent rulers

Interesting, mine appears almost chronological but with some weird discrepancies like a post from 1 day ago showing up (again after I've seen it a few times) before a post from three hours ago
