Here's a photo of my friend and colleague, Jorge Bautista, getting shot in the face with a flashbang grenade. The ICE Agent is so afraid of Jorge (who was posing no threat) that he has wet himself. Please share this photo. Everyone needs to know what cowards ICE agents are.

At our demonstration today, I'm holding a placard stating
"I support
Palestine.
Action
must be taken."
My aim is to highlight the absurdity of the government dictating what can and cannot be said by peace-seeking people

🌡️ #NewReport: the June 2025 Western European heatwave was up to +2.5°C hotter & drier than similar past events — mainly due to human-driven climate change.
It’s not rare anymore. It’s our climate.

Ben Shapiro having his speech protested at Middleton State Technical College was a world historic crisis that spawned a dozen bestselling books. All of those same people are either silent or support the biggest crackdown on speech in modern history playing out across the western world.
Just received news that 27 people have been arrested in Parliament Square under the Terrorism Act 2000 for holding signs saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action".
This is real police state behaviour.

I wish I could say that this wasn't what I expected from a Labour Government, but this is still good news.
I just don't understand why Yvette Copper chose to pursue this appeal in an attempt to try to keep what was clearly damaging and anti-democratic legislation.

This is not what most people would expect from a labour government.

The Senate voted Thursday to overturn a rule that required oil companies to pay a fine for emitting methane, a powerful greenhouse gas that has significantly contributed to #ClimateChange.

Already approved by the House, the bill is expected to receive President Trump's signature.

So now we have it. Rachel Reeves's claim that a third runway at Heathrow Airport would boost economic growth comes from a report commissioned by .... Heathrow Airport. Instead of acting in the national interest, she's channelling corporate lobbyists.

Your organisation should probably ditch offsets too.

Spectre of construction of 3rd Runway at Heathrow is raised again

Last time it was seen off by a mix of environmentalists & irate locals

The fundamental politics has not changed since then – if Labour want to go ahead they’ll face a big fight

Why is it a bad idea?

I'm watching some folks reverse engineer the xz backdoor, sharing some *preliminary* analysis with permission.

The hooked RSA_public_decrypt verifies a signature on the server's host key by a fixed Ed448 key, and then passes a payload to system().

It's RCE, not auth bypass, and gated/unreplayable.
This might be the best executed supply chain attack we've seen described in the open, and it's a nightmare scenario: malicious, competent, authorized upstream in a widely used library.

Looks like this got caught by chance. Wonder how long it would have taken otherwise.
Woah. Backdoor in liblzma targeting ssh servers.

www.openwall.com/lists/oss-se...

It has everything: malicious upstream, masterful obfuscation, detection due to performance degradation, inclusion in OpenSSH via distro patches for systemd support…

Now I’m curious what it does in RSA_public_decrypt
