Education was a major area of success in the 2025-2026 #PAbudget.

We want to make sure our older generation has the ability to live with dignity and get the support they need.

The 2025-2026 #PAbudget includes a $10 million funding increase to provide home and community-based services to older Pennsylvanians - known as PennCARE.

Direct care workers help take care of our family members, and they're often don't make enough money to take care of their own families.

That has to change. In this #PAbudget, we provided a $21 million funding increase to direct care workers.

We helped secure $193 million for a NEW Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit.

We secured $100 million for school safety and mental health in the 2025-2026 #PAbudget.

We also got a $40 million increase for special education funding and $125 million for aging school facility improvements.

It's critical that we ensure kids feel safe in their schools .
