I don’t understand the world today. As a brain injury survivor, my perception of this life is unique, sure, but I never lost my personality, despite losing my voice, physical mobility, eyesight..
Life is shit sometimes, but the only thing to do is to pick up, and carry on. That’s how I function.

I used to be a runner- just a great way to expend extra energy, and see my world up close. I stopped after fracturing a knee cap when I took a fall. It healed fine, though I also need medication to regulate a seizure condition- unpleasant side effect of my brain injury…
