Riffing off a recent J. Kenji Lopez-Alt video, chili crisp fried eggs with toast, topped with a homemade matcha cream spread (think Nutella, but matcha and 80% less sugar). A delicious blend of savory, sweet, spicy, and herbaceous, with tons of textual variety, all under 500cal.

While walking back to my hotel last night from a ridiculously cool bar in Madrid (Inclan Brutal) at about 1 in the morning, a random guy in the street pointed at me and asked, "Hey, do you play D&D?" First of all, yes, second of all, how did he know? I was dressed up for a night out; no dice at all!

Note to self, there's like ONE small, raised table with outlets on it in the entire D concourse area of Charlotte Douglas Airport, and seats at that table are harder to come by than TSwift tickets. It's fine little laptop. You'll just know the quiet embrace of death for awhile 😭

Whirlwind summer of travel continues. Vegas, Gen Con, the SC coast, ProgPower metal fest, and now a long tour of Europe, including London, Amsterdam, Paris, and Madrid. This is the last of it. I'm SUPER pumped🤩! I ALSO already miss our adorable cat and continue to miss my regular gaming commitments🥺
