It’s really sad and it’s because the communities that need the most help have a majority that is cheering all of this on. Maybe one day they will learn of their mistake when no one remains to help them or care.

I got a really awesome group I’ve started working with that are interested in population change impacts on local communities. We are approaching it from a resilience angle not wholly embedded in natural disaster.

SHP is a mess. There are so many small changes that could make a difference. Like why does insuring one dependent cost the EXACT SAME as 5 kids or more? Why are hair plugs even accepted as medically necessary (with a note)?? Sad part is that it’s supposedly a good plan.
