update! we got june into a foster at del gato rescue in hollywood and she's doing so well! she already is getting belly rubs! i'm taking baby to get vaccinated and dog tested this week, hoping we can get him into a rescue despite the chaos in LA

With the exception of Sweden, infant mortality when Jimmy Carter was born was higher in every country on Earth than it currently is in any country on Earth.
Sweden, by far the global leader in 1924, was at roughly the level of Sierra Leone today, but lower than present-day Afghanistan.
