Why was “From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler” by E.L. Konigsburg removed? That little nugget is just dropped in the article with no other mention. Did Tess follow up on that? Also, a little more information about the other book would have been useful.

White people often have trouble recognizing racism when it’s not intentionally malicious because we were taught it’s about hating people of color, when it’s often about not considering people of color at all or assuming you know what’s best.
