Last but not least, there's an original Triceratops skull (quite rare in Germany), a deep-rooted obsession with Allosaurus specimens (so many mounts at this museum!) and a little Nanosaurus for good measure.

Overall, a fossil collection worth seeing if you ever find yourself in Berlin!

Here's a few close-ups of the sauropod hall. There's plenty of smaller pterosaur and fish fossils as well, so be sure to check those out! There's also a couple smaller herbivorous theropod mounts. Really cool!

The entrance hall is impressive. Here you get to see a number of sauropods: Giraffatitan (the tallest mounted skeleton in the world), Diplodocus and Dicraeosaurus. Of course Kentrosaurus shouldn't be forgotten either!

A few highlights from my recent trip to Natural History Museum Berlin! Finally seeing Tristan Otto, our local T. rex, in person again was a blast!

A huge museum with a sizable collection of fantastic fossils, and of course the Berlin specimen of Archaeopteryx!! Absolutely breathtaking to look at.
