Fieldfares in the hawthorns at Sutton Bank, North Yorkshire (UK). These beautiful thrushes are winter visitors to the UK, though numbers vary. It’s impressive how such large, striking birds can almost vanish among a tangle of branches, berries and grey winter sky. Watercolour painting.

Lately I’ve been in my fungi appreciation era since it’s winter/fungi season in Northern California 🍄❤️

still at my family's house for the holidays so I had to draw that with stuff I'm not used to (namely : the note app and my finger) but enjoy anyway :)

first panel : at 9AM a girl with red hair and a yellowish shirt wakes up with a sore throat. pain is indicated with red wiggled lines. second panel : at noon the girl now wearing a ponytail and an orange hoodie has a sore and itchy throat as well as back pain, she looks sick. third panel : at 4PM the girl looks sicker, her hair is a mess, she has now a sore and itchy throat, a headache, and her back pain is getting worse. fourth panel : at 8PM the girl is completely folded in half with pain indicators all around her. last panel : the next morning the girl is back to her factory setting with shiny hair and pink cheeks. she is flabbergasted by her recovery as she is surrounded by glitter to indicate that she is back to a perfect body.
