Didn’t expect to see Apple accelerating the iPhone’s slide toward irrelevance more than it already has with AI features that a lot of users don’t want, but now we also get intrusive ads pushed from Apple Pay with movie promo codes for Apple’s F1 movie, which nobody cares about or wants.

this is a bad take and ignores the real challenge: that Apple still has to sell phones to people who abhor anything branded as AI. i mean isn’t it possible that 99% of the planet haven’t missed the so-called AI revolution, but that they’re smarter than the tech journos who have fallen for such BS?
