Controlling the #HOscale layout from the couch iPad with the Roco z21 DCC controller. Two #Athearn SD40-2s connected and pulling a sand and coal consist. The #z21 makes it very simple to define multiple-units. The sound is onboard the trains’ #Tsunami2 #DCC decoders.

I do have full ai generated examples. But when looking to do something more narrative I use Dall-E for static source images to ensure I have the right environment/character/stuff I want. Then I ask Runway to animate such as the figure walking.

I added some custom MU hoses to the custom #hoscale plow on this dash 8. Still a work in progress but very happy to have gotten this far from a 30 dollar engine from the hook horn era. Engine runs smooth enough for #DCC conversion soon.

before and after. it had been dropped before I bought it. I fixed the railing as best I could, updated the coupler, and got a 3D printed plow with much better detail. Needs paint but it’s looking 200% better. #hoscale

I’m more into restoring and updating vintage stuff and repairing broken stuff. I have a large layout of track that goes through my den and my art studio. Everything here, locomotives and rail cars, is repaired, or built from parts and vintage kits that never got assembled.
