I've thought a lot about how the US is drilling unprecedented amounts of oil but gas still isn't a dollar a gallon. As far as the base is concerned the environmental destruction is purely for lib-owning purposes. No one actually gets anything
tbh it's kind of fascinating that Trump has basically won 2024 on the back of a rainbow coalition for right-wing authoritarianism while also basically doing none of the herrenvolk welfarism that you would think would be implied
