A formal introduction!

Unfortunately it only allows me to add 4 photos so it doesn’t cover all of me professionally.

But here’s a peak of some of what I do.

If men with guns and masks tried to pull me out of my car, I'd fight back. Courts should reject any claims by the government that this is aggression by the person being detained, resisting arrest, or that they're a flight risk.

D'Angelo never wanted to be a sex symbol. He was so much more than that. So much more than even the music.

While wearing a ribbon skirt yesterday, I ran into a yt woman and her 2 teens who held the door for me.

Mom’s face was amazing. She gasped and then her teens stopped: “Oh my gawd! Your outfit is so beautiful!” They all three squealed and I couldn’t help but giggle.

I f*ing love being Native.

Just in case you wanna see how YT “resistance fighters” really view Black and Indigenous people:

She has over 90k followers on Threads and THIS is what she’s using that platform for.

Another cozy read that gave me all the feel good vibes. This is a dad/daughter duo helping people relive memories through nostalgic dishes. They take tiny memories and recreate these dishes for an array of customers.

Lemme know if you’ve read this one!

Oh my gosh. I’ve never had a graphic novel get me choked up. Love love love this story. The illustrations are so good and gave me Summer Camp Island vibes which is my fav.

Fantastic for upper elementary and up.

We’ve gone from issues in classrooms to school libraries then issues w/ public libraries & now focused on controlling what bookstores sell.

If I don’t like something, I just don’t buy it-it’s that simple!

Texas bill could punish bookstores for 'obscene' books
A new bill in the Texas Legislature, authored by Rep. Nate Schatzline, would allow businesses to be held liable if a minor reports damages from "obscene" books.

Funny how the paperwork only matters when it’s a woman or minority voter.

Brand new design for Independent Bookstore Day!!!

Don’t be mad at authors for promoting the Zon or BN sales. That’s their livelihood.

But if you can support indies like mine: please do! I shared on IG how to support my store specifically🧡

There are people in other parts of the world who are going to bed not afraid of tomorrow.

My soul envies that more than anything I could ever ask for.

Instead of church on Sundays, I now clean my ancestral altar.

Honestly, it feels more holy than any church service I’ve attended.

My altar is a place I can unload my burdens and not feel shame. I’m reminded of my strength not of my “sins”.

It’s has been a place of immense healing.

AOC: We must acknowledge the terrifying moment we are in right now. What we are hearing and seeing with our own eyes is, in fact, happening. We are watching our neighbors, students, and friends being fired, targeted, and disappeared. It is real.
