If they believed you bought drugs off the dark web or were peddling CP, then yeah, they should ask AUTHORITIES to investigate. Go through proper channels.

But determining what you can or can not buy is antithetical to the very capitalist system they proclaim to embody.

Okay, my bad. You just lack reading comprehension and critical thinking skills beyond a 1st grade level.

My stance has been that hollywood promoting unobtainable body standards that put a person's health at risk is a detriment to both the actor's health and people's self perception of themselves.

You must be in the Olympics because the mental gymnastics you're performing to constantly put words in my mouth is astounding.

Even from the onset you were a hostile bitch to me, and your only defense seems to be to repeatedly insult and whine. You must live within an echochamber inside your head.

My entire stance is that dehydrating for 30+ hours to obtain a look for a movie is not healthy. That's 100% based on biology and health science. That's it. If you were drawing nonstop to the point your wrist tendons began to tear, yeah, I'd say, "Hey, maybe this isn't worth endangering your health."
July 15, 2025 at 6:37 PM
The difference is that drawing an idealized/exaggerated body doesn't harm anybody. Do it. I fully encourage it. But just look at people like Judy Garland, who was starved and basically fed crackers, diet pills, and cigarettes to keep her "figure" for The Wizard of Oz at only 16 years old.

Just based on the original verbiage, it seems like he was also arguing that the left picture was what pop culture has now deemed a "dad-bode", yet that's what a natural/fit person realistically looks like. While the right side is the faked/forced physique that they want people to believe is "ideal."
July 15, 2025 at 6:02 PM
Okay, so if someone has anorexia and purges every day to the point you can see their ribcage, that's valid?

Like, it's not wrong to say that either extreme is dangerous to their health and the lengths required for such physiques shouldn't be normalized by Hollywood. 36 hrs without water is f**ked.

"...dehydrated & miserable..." is verbatim what they said in their post. I literally just added the context about Hugh Jackman since people don't realize how fucked up it is to actually look like that. I dunno why you're being hostile.

"Don't do this at home": Hugh Jackman Lost 10 lbs of Water Weight by Dehydrating Himself Before His Shirtless Scene in Logan
Hugh Jackman went to extreme lengths including dehydrating himself to get ripped for his Wolverine role in the X-Men franchise...

Actually they're pointing out the fact that Hugh Jackman (for the picture on the right) had to dehydrate himself by not drinking any water for nearly 2 days to look like that. That's why it's a gross and unhealthy body, because it's endangering his health in order to look good on camera.

As someone from Canada, I can confirm these are biblically accurate Canadians.

Generally speaking, the women's sword is actually better. But because it is pink, men will buy the inferior blue one and think that they're getting a deal.

It's like when my buddy Ea-nāṣir said: "Bronze is for girls, what you really want is Copper! It's the metal for men, and I got loads of it!"
February 14, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Difference is the sword for ladies is designed with an ergonomic blade to hit weakpoints, oiled to glide seamlessly with its strokes, and can be used for full-body slashing.

The men's sword is just a generic shortblade that only gets a +1 to any attacks above the neck, with -5 to anything lower.

Sorry I misspoke. Overwatch 2 was supposed to launch at full retail price. They made it F2P after announcing they weren't gonna meet most of their promises/claims they had been boasting previously about PVE content. I had not gotten onboard with it originally due to the pricing prior to release.
