So many people that are dependent on soft money (grant funding)...they don't have time to engage in "politics", they are too busy writing grants to try and pay the rent when paylines have dropped to less than 10% in best cases

And for context, Democrats agreed to a continuing resolution in March...6 months and never got a seat at any table. Their duty is to support the people who elected them and if they can't do that why should they be complicit in promoting views contrary to their constituents
