There are some actionable steps in this post. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - oppose and be vocal about that opposition in as many ways as you can be. This is not the way. We don't want to be the state that got rid of a protected class.
The Iowa House Judiciary Committee just approved a wide-ranging transgender discrimination bill.
It was a mostly party-line 13-8 vote with Republican Brian Lohse joining Democrats to vote no.
