My personal mantra for the foreseeable future is this: celebrate joy. Your joy, your friend's joy, your neighbor's, your coworker's, your community. Remember what you are fighting for, even if it's hard. Drench yourself in it.

This might sound silly, but one of my favorite things about comics as a medium is its limitations. Its purely static visuals and the challenge of trying to accurately portray motion, texture, sound, heat, etc in a way that isnt just telling the reader but trying to get them to feel it, is so fun
