I'm in a tough situation where I really enjoy working at my ragtag school, but I cannot stand the people I work for. Not sure what to do but my resume is up to snuff and I think I gotta start sending it out.

It's crazy that people are still named Dennis.

Quietly one of the most heartbreaking moments in Cowboy Bebop.

Turning 38 soon and thinking of getting really into Billy Joel. Listened to a song recently and was like damn, this fishing village is cored tf out. Reminded me of the Bloodborne dlc.

My dad rented Pulp Fiction when I was 10 or 11 and sent me to my room for the gimp scene. I snuck out though and watched it furtively from the hallway. My dad then called me back and said, "I'm glad I didn't let you see that!"
Tell us about a movie that scared the shit out of you as a kid.

Had a dream I was doing a minor stunt on a Jackie Chan movie from the early 90's and man, it gave me a new appreciation for his craft.

Apparently there are only two fits for straight dudes in San Diego:

Under 30
Crocs with pulled up white socks, 5in inseam jersey shorts, and an oversized t with a graphic for a lawnmower repair shop or something similar.

Over 30

I tried to save a bee from drowning but accidentally swept it into the filter. Life is so delicate and I have proven myself a poor shepherd.

Asteroid City was a delight. Anderson heading off a lot of common criticisms by leaning all the way into artifice. I've always enjoyed his dioramas but I know others have found them distracting wrt verisimilitude. I hope this approach allows audiences to focus on the characters and emotions.
