For Pandeism, the creator becomes the universe so an atheist could be someone who thinks God didn't do that but Pandeists don't think God did that either; just that a disinterested creator did it.

But we still as a society seem to benefit from shaking things up with days designated to contemplate special celebration.

I still label myself agnostic atheist, but when I look into pandeism, that makes the most sense to me. A creator god that doesn't interfere with the world, that probably can't even interfere because it's not a being, just IS makes way more sense in my head

Could it? History is replete with deity accounts which contradict each other, and are at least explicable as contending pretenders.

Dawkins calls Pantheism "sexed-up Atheism" -- he's wrong about an awful lot of things, but strictly defined, not so far off on that one.
