Euoplocephalus is a genus of large herbivorous ankylosaurid dinosaurs, living during the Late Cretaceous of Canada. Its body was low-slung and very flat and wide. Like other ankylosaurids, they were largely covered by bony armor plates and had a heavy club at the end of the tail.

Deinosuchus is a crocodilian (not a dinosaur) that lived during the late Cretaceous period in North America. The largest estimated to be 10.6 meters long with large teeth and osteoderms covering their backs. They had broad, flat skulls and were thought to prey on large dinosaurs.

#Archaeopteryx lived in the Late Jurassic in what is now southern Germany. They could grow to about 0.5 meters in length. Despite their small size, they had broad wings and inferred ability to fly or glide. Scientists recently discovered that they had melanistic feathering. #paleontology

#Ceratosaurus is a theropod dinosaur from the late Jurassic period. A nearly complete skeleton has been found in Colorado. They had a horn on the midline of the snout and 2 horns over the eyes. They had short forelimbs with 4 fingers but claws only on the first 3.

Utahraptor is a feathered carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the early cretaceous period in the United States. It is the largest-known Dromaeosauridae, measuring about 6–7 meters long. They had jaws lined with small serrated teeth and a large claw in the second toe.

Baryonyx is a theropod dinosaur from the early cretaceous period.They were estimated to be 10 meters long and had a long, narrow snout and a mouth full of long serrated teeth. They also most likely fed on fish and scavenged smaller creatures.

Dino of the day 13 Corythosaurus is a Hadrosaurid dinosaur from the late Cretaceous period in western north America. These dinosaurs are known by their tall crests which are thought to be used for vocalizations. Specimens have also been found with preserved impressions of polygonal scales.

DINOSAUR OF THE DAY 12 #Deinocheirus is a large theropod that lived during the Late Cretaceous period in Mongolia. Though it was a bulky animal, it had many hollow bones which saved weight.Theh had large, blunt claws on its three-fingered hands and had a wide bill commonly found on Hadrosaurus.
