This leaves more questions than answers: who is the Toad? What does the castle look like? Is the Toad going to try to overthrow the ruler of the realm? Who will the party help?
And I as the GM have no idea what the answers to these questions are yet either. I'm along for the ride with the players!

A quick example: Last session my players slayed a serpent that was terrorizing a small town, then went about exploring to find their next myth. They encountered a patrol of warty guards who said they serve "the Toad, the Fat Lord, Born to Rule", who is currently building a new castle atop a lake.

The Myths and Omens are a genius work of game design. You're given 72 different weird plots, randomly pick 6, and then at semi-random intervals as the party travels, the game gives you a cryptic and dreamlike prompt that points towards what myths are in the land. The game handles the pacing for you!

example: seeing brennan lee mulligan go on a cooking show, ask for the heaviest meals possible, and then proceed to spend the rest of the episode housing the entirety of his favorite dish

there is like 5 people that are really really funny on dropout and i just watch whatever they are in. everything else i skip

perhaps destruction better portrays the messiness of it all. i don't think i was destined for this in the same way that a caterpillar is destined to fly. none of this was planned, but it needed to happen. maybe sometimes old growth needs to burn to keep the forest alive (its me, im trees)

i am curious if other people share a similar locale fixation. all it takes for me to fall in love with a piece of media is to have snow and howling wind. certainly there are other weather devotees out there who are instantly enamored with a location when there's like a bright sun or rainstorm??
