2/2 Of course I'm plagued by construction & the ponds where the Swans & ducks were have been drained & a new distribution centre is being built, at least they waited until the Lapwings had finished breeding I suppose. 😬

The woods are full of Bluebells, Parsley and wild garlic at the moment. Can't smell any of it thanks to a nasty flu (covid) thing that's left me without a sense of smell 😬

This is a week after the premises opposite hacked down their trees and shrubs that were full of Sparrows, Robins, Wrens....

The trees in this car park have absolutely been butchered and cut down over the weekend, there was a Magpie nest in one of then, they keep sitting on the fence and lamp post looking at the tree. Sometimes I hate people.

Gorgeous morning at Rodley Nature Reserve, heard a Chiffchaff and saw plenty of birds, including GSW, Kingfishers, Jay's, Peregrine, Kestrels and a Deer. Very nice cheese scone and a cuppa in the visitors centre too!

I bought these carnations from Morrisons on the 6th Feb and they're still going strong, I've never had flowers last so well for so long!!

It's a little bit dull and cold, even had a few flakes of snow this morning, but the woods are full of birds and birdsong and there are signs of spring (don't get me started on the amount of litter everywhere though 😬😡)
