Boston loves a Revolutionary War reference @ #HandsOff Boston
In front of The Embrace, a sign that reads "Boston beating kings since 1775." There are three red circles with lines through them over a British crown, the LA Kings logo and Donald Trump’s hair. Fun fact: the Boston Tea Party was a protest against tariffs. Not sure this is technically true. Massachusetts still hates kings 250 years later on one sign. On the other it reads 1 if by land, 2 if by sea, 3 if by Cybertruck A man with a Ukrainian flag draped over his shoulders holds a sign that says "How many Tesla should we throw into Boston Harbor"

Agree that institutional neutrality in this moment is covering for obedience, a defensive posture bc of endowment tax talk etc. But that is a weird, totally gratuitous, sexualized analogy to Nicole Kidman in Babygirl. Completely detracts from the weight of the argument and gives me the ick.
