Aw, getting a "Respectfully" will make me go above and beyond every time. 😊

ALT was fun to write, but probably not as descriptive as it should be.

My annual June 6th post.

I'm pretty happy that my younger son graduated from the Texas public education system last year. Otherwise we'd be making the local news when he would force them to hang his commandment from his officially ordained father/minister next to the "ten" commandments.

Yea! We saw one doing so about two weeks ago here in North Texas. It was so cool.

We didn't take a lot of photos, but this was a good one. This is on our walking trail.

As an Antarctica geek, I get indescribably happy looking at any Frank Hurley photograph.

One of my favorites, filled with ALT info.

A great blue heron, a great egret, and two red-headed woodpeckers (I think, the sun angle was brutal) on our walk around the local pond this afternoon.

Also saw a turtle laying eggs, which was pretty cool.

I'm no birder, but admire birds. My son and I saw this great blue heron (I believe) on our walk today. It was beautiful.

My wife's best friend growing up used to be the queen of our local festival. It was pretty awesome.

Our go-to is Louisiana (uninspired, I know), but we have Sriracha, Texas Pete and Cholula around. "Tabasco in a pinch" is probably my motto, as well.

Growing up in Wisconsin, we had a fabulous mural in our post office. You can bet that we learned all about cranberries in school.

I still don't know why we aren't sending F-35s. They are coming off the assembly lines at a pretty impressive clip.

As I've said before...

The F-16 Viper is 50 years old. The U.S. fighter that was 50 years old when the F-16 first flew is the P-1 Hawk.

What happened in 2020, by the way?

Yeah, but no matter how cool your sticker may be, it's not Michigan sticker cool.

Me, yesterday.

Would you like to see what voter suppression looks like here in Texas? Both of my boys registered already for their first elections (yea!) and all that they need is photo ID.

Here are the next available dates to get their photo IDs, as of this morning, 10/16/2024.

Apparently, Helene is a fuzzy white dog in the eye of the hurricane.

It's too easy to remove voters. (I did NOT submit these, but could have.)

You mean this information? (I am NOT filling out this form for anyone, as it's a felony, but showing how easy it is should be alarming.
